Espiño Tunnel. Left Branch

Project Information: Excavation of the Espiño Tunnel (Left Branch), belonging to the works on the platform of the Madrid-Galicia high-speed north-northwest corridor. The tunnel is 3,500 m long with an excavation section of approximately 70 m2 and a final section of 52 m2. The following support elements will be used during excavation of the tunnel: Sprayed concrete, TH-29 and HEB-160 type trusses, MN-16 type expansion bolts, 88.9 mm and 101.6 mm self-drilling and micro-pilot bolts.
