Latin America: the ‘conquest’ of Peru.
The Ossa Group, for its part, was awarded contracts last month for works in Brazil and Peru for a combined total of 15 million dollars (11.6 million euros). Ossa will carry out the work for the Wayrasencca road tunnel in Peru for Intersur Concesiones, as part of the Southern Interoceanic Highway project connecting Brazil with the Pacific via Peru. For the construction company, which expects 70% of its portfolio of works and turnover to be abroad in 2015, this is not its first experience in Peru. In 2011 Obras Subterráneas won the contract to build the tunnel in the Toquepala mine for the Southern Peru Copper Corporation, for 14 million dollars.
